Way too often i find myself having to miss an Adolescents show, and it's been like sandpaper on my nerves.
I was SUPPOSED to be at Rebellion in Blackpool this year, and was overjoyed to see that my beloved Adolescents would be there as well, among other folks from our region. But my mother's illness and passing kept me too busy to earn money for the flight to Blackpool (i would have had a free ticket, all access, and free lodging across the street).

So i've been all pouty and whiney cuz i haven't had my Adolescent fix for a long time.
On July 11, though something very cool will happen.
My OC Heroes of punk will be playing at Alex's Bar in my old stomping grounds, and better yet - they will be playing with Stab City.
Stab City is made up of the greatest kids ever. Sailor, the lead guitar is a kid i watched run around with a runny nose ages ago, and his brother and uncle and i were very close - doing props in Hollywood and stage production and stuff on and off for years. Sailor is one of those kids who just LIVES for music, and has an unlimited palate. He's so hungry to discover everything music has to offer, and when he's on stage, the catharsis is almost dangerous. You'll NEVER see wild pure energy like this (well, i guess there's a certain young Adolescent who embodies this in his own way. hehe.).

If you can make it to Alex's Bar on 7/11, I'd love to see you and hope my Adolescents will love these kids as much as i do. I'm doing everything in my power not to miss this one - and life seems to want to be kind to me.
If you don't like me, don't let that stop you. I'm just advertising the purity that i know will be there.

I'll have the video cam, still cam, and of course SNACKS. yay!

Hey everyone,

Sorry there havent been any updates here on the site, but between work, personal issues and other projects that I have been working on, unfortunately this site has fallen by the wayside. It all boils down to time, and unfortunately i have very little of it these days.

The neglect of this site doesn't in any way reflect my love for the band and the great guys who are in it. Tony and Steve have been extremely great dudes to me and have contributed to me having some of the best times in my life.

Anyhow, we'll work something out here.
